The Impact of Oplan Tokhang to the Surrenderees: Basis For Enhancement Program

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the impact of oplan tokhang program to the Surrenderees in Nabunturan. Likewise, the study underscored the effectiveness of the said program in order to develop an enhancement scheme. A researcher- made questionnaire was administered to the identified Surrenderees who were selected through random sample technique. The 254 both the PNP and community residents consider its effectiveness as very effective in encouraging drug users to voluntarily surrender, makes the drug users feel safe, a measure for self-rehabilitation, gathered data revealed that reduces the number of drugs.
