Abstract

This study aimed to determine the level of effectiveness of virtual laboratories as experiential learning to hospitality management students among schools in Tagum City during COVID-19 pandemic. The researchers employed the descriptive type of research and adopted survey questionnaire was utilized.  In this study, the respondents were the one hundred fifty (150) Hospitality Management students from three (3) schools in Tagum City and were selected randomly to answer the following objectives; to determine the level of effectiveness of virtual laboratories as experiential learning to hospitality management students in Tagum City and to determine a significant difference when analyze in terms of schools. The following findings were drawn based on the results of the study. The level of effectiveness of virtual laboratories as experiential learning among schools in Tagum City is described as high. This means that the virtual laboratory as an experiential learning is much effective. And, there is no significant difference on the level of effectiveness of virtual laboratories as experiential learning among schools in Tagum City. This means that students from different schools acquired similar experiential learning. It is then recommended that schools may continue to use virtual laboratory as an alternative learning platform in preparation of unexpected event.
