Abstract

The feasibility study focuses on the establishment of a Korean-style barbeque meat shop offering a variety of marinated samgyupsal products tailored to meet the growing demand for Korean cuisine in Davao City, Philippines. This business venture capitalizes on the popularity of Korean pop culture and cuisine among Filipinos. The study highlights the proposed shop's strategic location in Barangay Cabantian, emphasizing its potential to serve both walk-in customers and offer take-home packages suitable for outdoor events. The business aims to offer high-quality cuts of marinated and non-marinated pork and beef, with supplementary items such as kimchi and ssamjang. Financial projections demonstrate profitability starting in the first year, with a net income of PHP 107,170.17, and increasing in subsequent years due to an anticipated annual sales growth of 8%. Operational and financial sustainability is supported by strategic marketing, targeted promotions, and competitive pricing within a market largely devoid of direct competitors offering the same variety and convenience.
